We have a new book at home by the illustrator Kustaa Saksi.

Kustaa has worked with many great clients such as Nike, Mandarina Duck , The Times and Levi’s, to name a few. My fiance claims its the most beautiful book that we have, big words but the book does live up to it. Printed on uncoated paper with the illustrations mixed in with photographs and repeat patterns, its pure escapism.

Following the path of offensive posts which have swearing in (sorry mum), I couldn’t resist posting about this from Alison Carmichael.

Its true, words do look much nicer when they are hand lettered. She has more gorgeous hand lettered typography on her website, well worth checking out. I promise tomorrow, no more swearing.

I love the delicate nature of these necklaces from Tinctory the subtle colours are absolutely stunning.

The shop re opens in January after the christmas break.

I admit I have been rubbish with posts this week.

I have spent nearly everyday in the print studio preparing all my stock for Designers Marketplace next weekend. I couldn’t resist the urge last night to put it all together to see how it looks. I am really happy with the results, I hope that I get some good feedback next weekend. This weekend however I am off to a dance themed party and I am watching Twilight (scream) tonight. Have a good weekend.

TWO WEEKS!!! and counting.

I am literally a one woman sweatshop at the moment preparing. Cant wait though!!
